You can do your bit to help the University fulfil its aim of being a sustainable and socially responsible institution – and win some great prizes in the process – by taking part in Green Week.

Running from Monday 19 to Friday 23 March, the University, the Students Union and local organisations have teamed up to deliver an imaginative series of themed days;

Go Meat Free On Monday (and be in with the chance to win some free food hampers & food vouchers)

Travel Light on Tuesday (and be in with the chance to win a Revolution Courier Race Bike)

Volunteer on Wednesday (and be in with the chance to win First Class Train tickets to London, Edinburgh/ Glasgow, gig tickets of your choice or a rucksack)

Turn It Off on Thursday (and be in with the chance to win your very own reusable water bottle)

Be Waste Free on Friday (and be in with the chance to win a Hug Mug and some great savings off hot drinks and soups).

Volunteering opportunities on Wednesday 21 March include planting flowers in Platt Fields Park and helping the Manchester Veg People co-operative. Sign up and you could win train tickets, gig tickets or some cycling gear.
