Keep your student card to hand
Published on 7 June 12
Your student card provides you with access to one of the largest academic libraries in the world – leave your card at home and you could be missing out this Bank Holiday
If you forget your student card, then sometimes the Library can issue a day pass that means you can still access facilities. However this service is capped at no more than three passes a year, and cannot always be guaranteed as it uses up time and resources.
Please help The Library to use its time in better ways, providing you with a world class environment to study in – remember to bring your student card every time you visit the Library.
Access to the Library on the May and June Bank Holidays will be by student card only. Day Passes will not be issued on Monday, 4 June, or Tuesday, 5 June.
- Have you swapped your student card? If you are a current student returning in September and you still haven’t swapped your student card, swap now and avoid queuing at the start of next term. The new cards are built with contactless technology, like an Oyster card, and will provide you with access to new facilities such as the Alan Gilbert Learning Commons. Click here to find out how to swap.
