Research volunteering: get rewarded for your free time
Published on 6 December 12
You may have noticed that you no longer receive the research volunteering opportunities by email, but you can still find out what opportunities are available.
In response to evaluation and feedback from students and the Students' Union, the weekly My Manchester News bulletin for students now contains a section that links through to the latest Research Volunteering opportunities.
What is research volunteering?
The opportunities advertised through reserach volunteering are all from staff and students at the University who need volunteers to aid academic research. Some of the opportunities are paid, however not all are, but they do all help to improve understanding and research within the University.
If you wish to receive the weekly email, listing individual opportunities, you need to opt-in to the research volunteering mailing list.
You can do this by emailing listserv@listserv.manchester.ac.uk with 'subscribe research-volunteer' in the main message body.
