Information for postgraduates over the Christmas period

Published on 14 December 12

Although Christmas is approaching, we know that many of you will be busy and you will need to use this period to stay on top of your work load.

As postgraduates, you might be feeling like this Christmas holiday period isn't quite the rest you're used to. As the holidays get closer, so do many of your deadlines and we realise that you may not get as much of a break from your work as other students.

This time is really useful to stay on top of your workload, and, without the distraction of thousands of undergraduates, you might find that this is one of your most productive periods. If you're staying in Manchester for some or all of the vacation period, here's your guide to which services are available.
