Global Graduates Programme gives you the chance to visit local organisations, learn about their working practices, and develop your employability skills
If you're looking for a unique opportunity this summer, then the Global Graduate Programme from the Careers service could be for you. Building on the success of last year's pilot, we are expanding the programme to offer 16 places this summer.
Over the course of your trip, selected "Global Graduates" will visit a range of host organisations, meeting with alumni and representatives to learn more about their businesses, opportunities, and - of course - their cities. You will also consider the economic climate, working culture, business practices and areas for future growth. Our "Global Graduates" will also be expected to play an ambassadorial role for The University of Manchester and share information about key developments for the institution.
Through the visits, you will have the opportunity to both practice and develop existing skills, to start building your professional networks and to increase your understanding of your own employability.
Last year's host organisations included Google, the United Nations, PricewaterhouseCoopers, IBM and Bank of America Merrill Lynch, to name but a few.
