If you’re wondering what to do after your PhD, the Pathways event 2013 is for you

The Pathways Event 2013 is for any PhD students who want to explore possible career options and opportunities. The event will take place on Friday, 7 June in Renold Building (Sackville Campus).

More than 50 guest contributors are invited each year to share their stories, insights and expertise through a wide range of Q&A panel sessions covering topics such as:

• Industry versus academia
• Research roles outside universities
• Non-academic careers in universities
• Pathways with your PhD
• Marketing your skills and your PhD
• And many more

Around 350 delegates attend each year, so it's also a great chance to meet with other students and staff from across the University.

Pathways is free to attend and lunch and refreshments are provided for all delegates. You can register online. You can also keep up to date with Patways news at the Pathways blog.
