Published on 23 October 12
If you’re missing the summer of sporting success from the Olympic and Paralympic games then come along and join us at the Student Disability Sport day
You don’t need a disability or sporting experience to come along and get involved with the activities taking place. There are a variety of different sports to try out such as archery, indoor rowing, dance, cricket and wheelchair basketball with the opportunity to get involved with activities in the gym and pool.
All sessions will be led by qualified and experienced coaches and volunteers who specialise in disability sport.
The event will take place on Saturday 27th October from 12noon – 5pm at the Sport Centre on Peel Park Campus, University of Salford (number 2 on the campus map). The event is a joint collaboration between The University of Manchester, Manchester Metropolitan University and the University of Salford.
Transport is limited so each request will be assessed and allocation will be made on a needs basis. Please register your interest for the Student Disability Sport Day in order to receive more detailed information about the agenda.
