Challenge yourself with RAG

Published on 23 October 12

Getting involved in raising money for charity doesn’t get any more exhilarating than what RAG has to offer.

RAG (Raise and Give), part of the Students' Union, offer some amazing opportunities from diving with sharks to climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, and you can raise money for charity in the process. This year RAG are aiming to raise £500,000 and they need your help to reach their target.

How to get involved

On the RAG website you can find out how to sign up to challenges and they will list events they will be holding where you can find out more about the different challenges and what they entail.

With RAG Raids you also have the opportunity to visit places across the country whilst collecting money for charity. RAG Raids get you out and about with your travel costs covered, and let you experience a new city with some brilliant people.

There are different ways of getting involved with RAG, if you don’t fancy any of the challenges listed you can still get involved by promoting RAG around the University or you can even suggest your own challenge!

RAG are in need of a lot of different volunteers to help run events, for example, events such as Beerfest need a massive group of people pulling pints. To volunteer at events, simply follow the links on the RAG website.
