Manchester Enterprise Centre is running four inspiring events during the week, each covering a different aspect of enterprise and entrepreneurship. Why not come along and see where your ideas could take you?

Ideas Factory with Sian Astley - Property Developer and TV Presenter

Monday, 12 November, 16.30 - 17.30

Sian will be giving insight into her experiences of running her own property developing business. The session will be followed by an opportunity for networking with Sian, the Centre’s staff and enterprising students.

Progressing Your Business

Tuesday, 13 November, 12.00 - 14.00

Already running or starting a business? Our panel of guest entrepreneurs will share details about how they got their businesses up and running, where they found support and resources, and what help is available.

Social Enterprise - Improving people’s lives

Thursday, 15 November, 12.00 - 14.00

Interested in volunteering, community and charity work? Are you a social innovator or entrepreneur looking to develop the social impact of your activities? Find out what support and sources of finance are available.

Global Poverty Entrepreneurship Challenge

Friday, 16 November, 10.00 - 13.00

This year’s Global Entrepreneurship Week theme is ‘Enterprising solutions to global poverty’. Define and creatively solve problems in a fun environment, learn new skills and work with new people - there are prizes for the most interesting solutions. You can even enter your idea into our Venture Out ideas competition!

All events take place in the Alumni Club Room (within the Cafe Bar), Ground floor, MBS West.
