Irish President to give lecture at the University

If you would like to attend President Michael D Higgins' lecture on 22 November, please apply for a ticket as soon as possible.
His Excellency, the President of Ireland, President Michael D Higgins, is visiting the University on the afternoon of Thursday 22 November as part of his programme of visits to the North West.
President Higgins will give a lecture entitled 'Manchester and its Irish Connections'.
The lecture will be followed by a drinks reception, with music from Ivernia, the Irish Chamber Orchestra, led by Sinead Hayes.
The event will take place in the Whitworth Hall, Whitworth Building (50 on the map), at 4.15pm.
