Harrison Woods, a final year geaography student from The University of Manchester, has received funding from the BBC show 'Dragons' Den', to expand his parking space hire company, Primal Parking.
His business provides an online marketplace that connects people looking for private parking to those who have an empty driveway or parking space. He received £30,000 from Theo Pathetis and Peter Jones in exchange for a 40% stake in his business.
Harrison plans on using this investment to develop the business further by installing new IT infastructure, developing a marketing campaign and help towards staffing. Once this is added to the existing website and app the future is looking bright for the young, entrepreneur.
Primal Parking now has 7,500 parking spaces registered nationwide and 10,000 registered users looking parking. It employs four staff with plans to recruit further.
