It’s worth spending some time figuring out which type of working environment suits you best. Are you more productive in a comfortable, peaceful environment on campus, or do you prefer working in your own space at home?

Around campus, there are plenty of different study areas with a variety of different facilities nearby. So however you like to study, you should be able to find somewhere on campus to suit your needs.

Relaxing whilst revising

For those who prefer comfy couches, cushions and bean bags to work on, there are many places dotted around campus that you may like. Many buildings have common rooms or comfy couches in their foyers or corridors which are ideal for getting some tasks done.

With all of the coffee shops and eateries around campus, why not treat yourself to a nice hot beverage whilst you get your work done and cosy up in a cafe.

Group study

Studying with friends can often be very productive and you may find that by helping to explain key concepts to one another, you will gain a greater understanding of them yourself. There are plenty of group study rooms, in various locations around campus. To find out more about these, including how to book one, click here.

Night owl

We do have computer facilities that are open 24/7 for those of you who prefer to work late into the night.
