It's never too early to think about this skills you're building that will help you when you graduate. If you've got 10 minutes, we've got the questionnaire that will assess what you're great at and where your gaps are.

The My Future questionnaire gives suggestions of actions and recommendations of how to improve your chances of getting the job you want once you graduate. The report you receive directly relates to skills and attributes of successful graduates and alumni of the University while they were studying and how you match. These attributes are often sought after by employers.

Charlotte, a fourth year Modern Languages student said:

"The questions themselves were useful because they made me instantly reflect about the effort and the ways I am developing my career prospects, before even knowing the recommendations of the quiz."

Some of these actions are linked directly to employment, for example getting work experience but some recommendations are more surprising, such as broadening your contacts, developing confidence in influencing others and preparing for setbacks. It all depends on your answers!

It highlights your strengths and what you can do to further develop these as well as where you feel you could do with more help. The report will give you direct links to support offered by the University.

Charlotte said: "It felt very personal – recommendations corresponded with the answers to the questions which may be preventing me from improving my job prospects."

How long does it take?

It only takes about 10 minutes. It's a quick questionnaire of about 40 questions and the report is instantly generated once you've completed it.

Is it for me?

It's for all undergraduates. The questionnaire takes into account your year of study and how you confident you feel about where you see yourself after your degree.
