The Careers and Employability division are now accepting nominations for the Social Responsibility and Volunteer of the Year Awards.

Many of you, as well as alumni and staff, give your personal time and energy helping to undertake public engagement work or volunteering with disadvantaged groups in the community locally, nationally and overseas.

If you know of a University of Manchester student, member of staff or alumnus who you think is worthy of a Social Responsibility and Volunteer of the Year Award, then nominate them! The nomination form is short and easy to complete and you can even nominate yourself.

Nominations can be made online before 8 March, 2013.

Awards will be given in three categories:

In addition the overall winner in each category will be put forward for the University Social Responsibility Award and the organisation that they support will receive some money from the university.
