American football in the spotlight

SPORT blog highlights the University's squad ahead of this weekend's Super Bowl.

There are more than 40 different clubs in the University of Manchester Athletic Union, representing the University in the national BUCS league. But aside from the usual suspects - football, rugby, swimming - how much do you know about the sports we play?

This month's In the Spotlight blog, from SPORT, investigates Manchester's newest club: Manchester Tyrants american football club. It's perfectly timed to get you clued up ahead of America's biggest sporting event, the Super Bowl.
