Annual 55-mile sponsored walk aims to smash £36,000 fund-raising record

Fancy a challenge? How about walking 55 miles in under 24 hours across the whole of Manchester all for charity?

Bogle is the annual sponsored walk on the 1st-2nd of March that raises tens of thousands of pounds for charity each year. Organised by RAG, Bogle has been a highlight of Manchester’s calendar since 1951 and over the years has seen thousands battle against their wills to overcome the challenge and raise millions of pounds for charity

It’s only £10 to sign up which gets you your place, your walker ID, hot food and drinks along the way and the chance to do something amazing.

You can walk, run, hop, cry either 55 miles or 26, and there’s even the option to cycle 78. Best of all, you can chose either to raise money for our charity partner Mencap, or any charity of your choice. This means you can help a cause close to your heart, or raise cash for a personal challenge such as volunteering abroad this summer.

We want this year to be the biggest and best Bogle yet, so get your mates together in a team and start fundraising now! Sign-up closes this Friday (the 22nd) so to find out more and secure your place go to the Bogle webpages.
