The Atrium@University Place: a hub for information and advice

Published on 30 May 13

University Place will become a central hub for information and advice from September 2013

Whether you need to find out about opportunities to make the most of your time at University, help in overcoming problems, or to explore career options, then this is the place to be.

Over the summer months an exciting new space will be developed on the first floor - "The Atrium" - where a few of the centrally provided services will be co-located to provide a holistic approach to advice and guidance.

The Atrium will be the place to access information and advice about careers and volunteering, studying abroad, how best to manage money and lots more. It's a place to browse information or speak to an advisor for more in depth help.

The ground floor of University Place will focus on quick queries and take away information. It will benefit from an improved Welcome desk to replace the "AskMe" desk, increased staffing and the creation of a new information area where you can pick up free resources to take away, speak to an advisor at busy periods, or browse for information online.

Some services moving out

The Accommodation team will now be based within the Student Services Centre on Burlington Street and the Student Services Centre will remain the one-stop shop for all your transactional services.

Look out for more information in September.
