Changes to email for taught postgrads and undergrads

Published on 2 August 13

Your email account is migrating - but you shouldn't experience any problems.

Between 2nd and 5th August, all undergraduate and taught postgraduate email accounts are migrating to the Office365 service.

If you are unable to access your email via the ‘EMAIL’ link at the top of the page, you should access your email via this temporary link:

http://login.microsoftonline.com

Note that you will need log into this using your University email address and password (not your username).

If you cannot access your mail via either of these links it is likely that your account is in the process of being transferred - please try again in 20 minutes. If after this time you are still unable to access your email, contact the IT Service Desk on 0161 306 5544.

You can get more information about the migration to Office365 by reading this flyer produced by IT services.

Skydrive user?

The Skydrive service connected to your University email account will no longer be associated with your University account following the migration. You will still be able to access all of your files as normal, but any future password changes or support queries will be done directly through Microsoft.

For more information, read this flyer produced by IT services.
