How do you rate your teaching?

Tell Us about the quality of your learning experience – and let us know what could be improved - by completing your online Unit Surveys from Monday 30 April until Friday 11 May.

Unit Surveys – formerly known as Unit Evaluation Questionnaires – are part of the University's commitment to listen to students and to seek annual improvements in the quality of teaching and learning.

If you are a taught student, you are given the opportunity to provide this type of feedback twice a year, in Semester 1 and Semester 2, for all course units as they are nearing completion.

Results from the Unit Survey are reviewed locally at unit and School level, and formally during the Annual Performance Review of each Faculty. The unit survey process is designed to enhance overall levels of student satisfaction, which will be monitored from year to year.

The online surveys – one for each unit course you are taking will be visible to you as a box in the top left hand corner of Blackboard, which can be accessed via My Manchester

Some Schools have chosen to use paper-based questionnaires in place of the online version – your School will provide you with further information about these.

This is your chance to give feedback on the quality of teaching that you have received. Don’t miss this chance to have your say and help the University enhance the student experience.
