Stand in the elections

Can you, or a student you know, be a passionate and enthusiastic voice for students at Manchester?

All University of Manchester students can put themselves forward and/or suggest others to be part of the 2012/13 Executive Officer team from the 1 February 2012 up until 12 noon on the 1 March 2012.

All full time Executive roles are all held by elected students that are granted a special one year period of leave (otherwise known as a sabbatical) during or at the end of a course of study. Students elected to the Executive take up their roles in June 2012 and are paid an annual sum of £16,600 for their time in Office. A new Executive team is elected every year in March for the following academic year and this year they will take up their roles in mid-June 2012.

There is also a range of volunteer positions open for election, providing the opportunity to represent students whilst you study.
