Got an idea on how to improve student life at Manchester? Apply now for cash to make it happen!

The Learning Enrichment Fund supports projects and programmes across campus to enrich the academic and wider University experience for the student body.

If you have an idea for a project that could improve the student experience, apply before 25 May and you could receive substantial funding.

Did you know? The recent Manchester Film Festival was made possible thanks to money awarded by the Fund?

Set and run up by 21-year-old Masters student Andrew Oldbury, the Festival gave Manchester students the chance to get exposure for their work and an insight into what it takes to break into the world of film.

Supported by donations from alumni, staff and friends of the University, the fund makes a huge difference to thousands of students, by funding scholarships, bursaries, research and a wide variety of small projects across the University.

To date, other student-led projects that have been funded include a bike recycling scheme, a rebrand for Manchester RAG and a concert at the Bridgewater Hall.

Your project can only get help from the Learning Enrichment Fund if it benefits multiple groups of students (no one group or individuals), whilst also supporting the University's 2020 strategic vision.

All applications also need a supporting statement from a senior member of staff at the University or Students' Union in order to be considered.

This funding is open to both students and staff. Application forms, guidance and full terms and conditions can be found at: Your Manchester Fund: Learning Enrichment

The deadline for applications is 5pm on Friday 25 May. Good luck!
