Launch of a new cafe and shop, state of the art radio studios, computers and work spaces for student groups - as well as a brand new webiste

Your Students’ Union has thrown open its doors and is inviting you to drop by and see the recently completed building refurbishment.

Located at the hear of campus on Oxford Road (number on 68 campus map), the Union now boasts two state of the art radio studios, and brand new computer areas and work spaces for the use of every student society and group, as well as media volunteers and course reps. The new space also offers you improved opportunities to promote your events in the new foyer area, and throughout the building with new advertising screens.

The brand new café and shop will now be open serving home made cakes and locally sourced food, including kosher, Halal and vegan options.

The Students’ Union building is open from 8am - 6pm during the summer vacation (with the opportunity to book rooms  later than 6 if your society needs).

The opening of the refurbished building coincides with the Union’s new website, which now contains student led content, and exclusive space for societies and groups to create and host your own micro sites, or even promote your events to fellow students.

Manchester is the first Students’ Union to go live with an NUS digital website, a platform set to revolutionise online communication with students.
