Published on 9 February 12

The Sport Volunteer Fair is a great opportunity to find out how to gain valuable work experience, develop your leadership skills and pursue your interest in sport, whilst recieving great rewards along the way.

Start benefitting today

Benefit from a network of contacts and various partnerships, working with local schools and sports clubs in and around Manchester, and even help out at large scale sporting events in the area.

Volunteer opportunities are available in a variety of roles including coaching, officiating, sports development and administration, and the flexibility of the scheme allows you to choose how much time you want to put in.

As well as making friends, gaining great experience and boosting your employability, your hard work on the scheme is also rewarded with recognised volunteering certificates, financial contributions towards National Governing Body qualifications, and even free sports kit.

Have an idea for something more?

If you have a great idea for an event or want to start a new sports club, the Sports Volunteer Scheme is here to give you all the support, advice and guidance that you need.
