Win £4k to launch your business

Got a hot business idea and an equally good business plan? There are £5,000 of cash prizes to be won in the University’s Venture Further competition.
If you have been seriously thinking about the next steps in developing your idea, whether for a commercial or a social enterprise, this is your chance to get it off the ground.
With plenty of support available and maybe even a cash prize to help you on your way, Venture Further is open to individuals or teams.
Start by visiting the Venture Further YouTube channel to see the ideas past finalists have come up with. Almost any idea will be considered.
The six entries judged to have the most promising plans will be invited to give a short presentation to the final judging panel. Prizes will be awarded to the top three entrants that are judged by the panel to have the most chance of success.
• 1st prize - £4,000
• 2nd prize - £750
• 3rd prize - £250
