Sustainability Seminar Series Open to Students

Published on 26 January 17

Discover more about issues surrounding sustainability at the University by attending one of the Sustainability Seminar Series. The next one is on Wednesday 1st February.

The second seminar of the Seminar Series will take place on 1st February and will be led by Professor James Evans and Jonny Sadler who will focus on urban living; specifically if living in a city such as Manchester is a positive when it comes to sustainability. The talk will take place on Wednesday 1st February in room G.207 of the Alan Turing Building at 12pm to 1pm, with time afterwards for discussion.

After every talk there will be an opportunity to discuss a list of questions that could be offered to researchers and students here, at the University. This list of challenges and talking points about each topic will allow you to make a positive contribution to the campus and the city during your time at the University.

There is the opportunity for you to showcase any work that you are doing that is relevant to the area being discussed by displaying a poster. If you are able to provide a simple poster on the work you are doing around the topic we would be delighted if you could display this. Please email es@manchester.ac.uk if you have something that you can share.

We welcome attendance from all students across the University who wish to discover more about sustainability.

Register through Eventbrite to attend the seminar.
