February sees the launch of DigiLab’s brand-new code club workshops, so they’ve invited North Coders down to show you what their students get up to in coding bootcamp. Also, James Medd will be demonstrating GameFace – a user-friendly way to use the BBC micro:bit coding tool.

The National Student Survey – Time to be heard!

The National Student Survey (NSS 2017) has just launched it’s your chance to speak up.  Whether you feel your time as a student has been great, or you feel that some aspects could have been better, the completely anonymous survey, operated by Ipsos Mori is a unique opportunity to voice your opinions.

End of exam fun

Please remember as we approach the end of exams that you are part of a wider community. Long term residents of the community include families and elderly residents – these are your neighbours, who you may not have met yet.

Need help with your written English? The University Language Centre is now taking bookings!

This provision is free to all members of the University and ideal for international students hoping to improve their written English. These one to one sessions last approximately one hour and give you the opportunity to receive expert help in improving your academic work.
