The Manchester Review was founded in 2008 and is published by the Centre for New Writing here at the University. Aspiring to bring together the best of international writing from well-known, established writers alongside new, relatively unknown poets and prose-writers, the latest issue is now live.
Since the first issue which launched in October 2008, the review has published a whole host of new work by established and younger writers. Issued twice a year, The Manchester Review publishes reviews of books, art, film and music in the hopes of documenting the evolving cultural landscape of our amazing city.
