If you want to find your own volunteering overseas

Volunteering overseas is a lot more complex than volunteering at home and can be a real leap from your comfort zone. When looking for an organisation to volunteer with we recommend checking out the ethics, costs, safety, impact and sustainability of projects. With so much to think about we have lots of guidance to help your decision-making.

Team Uganda - a Summer volunteering opportunity

Are you interested in travelling, having an adventure, and making a difference this summer? Then this overseas volunteering project could be for you!

The TeamMember roles are open to undergraduates not in their final year, and who meet the eligibility criteria.  We are looking for students who are good team players and who are positive, motivated, flexible and keen to get stuck in and make a difference.  Check out our blog to see what the team got up to last year.

All successful candidates will need to be available for the key dates, and will take part in lots of pre-departure preparation and training, supported by the University Volunteering Team and S.A.L.V.E.  All Team Members will be expected to fundraise £500.

Deadline Monday 6th March. This is an exciting opportunity not to be missed and you don’t need to wait for the deadline to apply!
