Are you a natural born leader with a flair for putting on great events? Stand for a position on your Residents’ Association or Junior Common Room Committee today!

Did you know you’re already a member of a RA or JCR? This is included in your rent and used for social events, trips and sports activities throughout the year which are ran by a committee that are elected every year by the student body.  This year – this could be you.

Standing for a role on your RA/JCR is an awesome opportunity to get really stuck into University life, meeting new people whilst developing all kinds of organisational, event management and communication skills – not to mention it’s a lot of fun!  If you think that you have what it takes to represent your fellow residents and make your hall the best place to live on campus – start your campaign now.

Once you've decided to stand you will need to first decide which position you want to hold on your RA/JCR Committee. Every Hall has different roles available so check out which positions are available and which suit you the most!

The Students' Union supports the committees in achieving their goals and making halls of residence great places to live through a strong, exciting and supportive community.
