The Grad Fair 2017 is back

On Thursday 4 May from 10.30 – 4.00pm, the Grad Fair will return to The Armitage Centre in Fallowfield. The Grad Fair is one of the UK’s largest graduate recruitment fairs where over 140 exhibitors offer thousands of graduate opportunities for students like you.

Among these opportunities, there will be a whole host of information about graduate schemes, local and national vacancies with immediate start dates as well as internships and summer positions. Not only that, there’s also a chance to find out more about the work, teach and study abroad programmes plus postgraduate and further study courses.

Get prepping your CV

It’s never too early to start prepping your CV, so why not take full advantage of the helpful advice on writing your CV available to you by the Careers Service?

There’s lots of useful resources on how to structure a CV, understanding what content is needed and how you can research the job and employer. There’s also some guidance on how to write an effective and engaging LinkedIn profile. You could even undertake a few My Learning Essentials modules on how to structure and tailor your CV.
