Become a Resilient Researcher!

The Resilient Researcher is a 3.5 day course from the 9th - 12th May 2017.

The course offers a great opportunity to develop resilience, communication, and team-working skills whilst spending time and sharing experiences with students from difference disciplines and institutions.

Open to PhD students from any discipline who have completed at least one year of their PhD, it’s a chance to take time out from your research to really concentrate on your personal and professional development.  You will develop the skills you need to manage issues that can impact on research progression and find ways to help improve communication and build collaborative relationships.

The workshops offer a practical framework through co-operative, experiential learning using a combination of approaches, including:

A key aim of the programme is to look at the need to develop psychological flexibility as a way to cope with the challenges of your research and your career beyond.
