Join the careers service for Pathways – our annual careers event for PhD researchers and research staff.
The event will help you explore future plans and discover a whole range of opportunities available to you after your PhD.
With over 20 different panel sessions hosted by PhDs from a diverse range of career areas and backgrounds as well as seminars, the day is a chance to spend quality time away from the lab or desk to consider your future – no matter how close to completing you are, or how defined your plans are.
At previous events topics covered have included research roles outside academia; industry vs academia; changing your mind/changing your career; consultancy roles and self-employment and non-academic roles in universities.
