You know how it is at this time of year. You need to get up at the crack of dawn to find your usual study spot in the library or YOUR computer in one of the clusters has been ‘taken’ by someone else. And you don’t even know them!
Luckily there are loads of places on and off campus where you may find that quiet haven for revision. And you never know…you may even find some inspiration!
Manchester Museum (M13 9PL)
If you hike up to the top floor of the museum, you will discover a place called ‘The Study’-Manchester’s space for new thinking. This new area consists of galleries, a research space and a study centre. This area is great if you want some cultural inspiration while still being around campus!
Open Daily: 10am-5pm
Barnes Wallis Building (M1 7JA)
A perfect oasis from the Manchester cold winds, the Barnes Wallis building is located at the North Campus opposite the Joule Library.
They have two floors full of computers alongside a nice cosy cantina and study rooms if you wish something more private.
