The Wellbeing Champions are a new role open to all students who have studied at the University for at least one academic year. The Champions will have the opportunity to develop and run a variety of fun events in their schools and across the university. These will be varied and could include comedy nights, drama workshops, science socials and online competitions.
As one of the first Champions in this new student led role you will have the chance to help us develop and establish the scheme, and in doing so have a real positive impact on your fellow students wellbeing.
In return you will get comprehensive training in Wellbeing, people management and events management which will prepare you for the role. The role will also be added to your HEAR as proof to future employers of your involvement and the skills you have developed in this role.
We are looking for someone with:
- A desire to help others improve their wellbeing
- A positive and approachable nature
- A proactive approach towards promoting wellbeing throughout the University
- The ability to work as part of a team
If any or all of this appeals you go to http://bit.ly/WellbeingChampion to apply for the role or alternatively email- katrina.grier@manchester.ac.uk.
