The next UK general election will be on Thursday 8 June 2017. This is the time to use your vote!
In this election you elect a Member of the UK Parliament to represent your constituency.
Who should you vote for?
It’s up to you to do some research.
There’s so much information out there but to get an overview of where each of the parties stand on key issues the BBC have created a handy guide. There is also a link to all of the parties’ full manifestos.
Manchester Debating Society are organising a
hustings event in University Place, Lecture Theatre B, on Tuesday 30 May , 5-6.30pm with all the main parties represented. Go along and hear from the main parties. The list of candidates for all the parties are below.
