Calling all PGR students to get involved in Open Access

As part of International Open Access Week, which runs from October 24 to 30, The University of Manchester Library is holding drop-in events in all Schools. 

At the drop-in events researchers can find out more about meeting the Open Access requirements of their funders and how to prepare for the HEFCE Open Access Policy which affects submissions to the next REF exercise. Find the schedule here.

My Research Essentials

My Research Essentials is the Library’s core research training programme designed to equip you with specialist skills and knowledge required throughout the research process, from managing your referencing to publishing your research. MRE comprises bookable workshops and eLearning modules to complement faculty researcher training – to book a place or complete an online module visit the MRE webpages. As part of International Open Access Week, which runs from 24 – 30 October, we’re offering two bitesize workshops where you can learn about Open Access in Five Simple Steps. And if you’ve just claimed your ORCID, book your place at Wednesday’s workshop to find out how to manage and make best use of your ORCID.
